Jack Wood and his horse Basil invite you to visit Unbridled Joy Therapeutic Riding.
Jack Wood, a man who has been totally blind since birth and riding horses since he was five years old, is the founder and visionary of Unbridled Joy Therapeutic Riding. The program was established as a charitable, non-profit 501(c)(3) organization in 2009.
Jack has a "PhD in being blind" and believes that independence is essential to success. As a life coach dedicated to helping individuals who are finding it difficult to adjust to changing visual conditions, Jack established the Unbridled Joy Therapeutic Riding program to assist blind and visually-impaired individuals of any age.
Over the years, the program has evolved to support those with other disabilities and personal challenges. Independence means different things to different people. Jack and the Unbridled Joy Therapeutic Riding program help people develop their own independence to enhance their lives.
Jack is an inspiration to the sighted as well as the blind and visually impaired.
